Dental Implants

A dental implant is used to replace the root of a missing tooth. To prevent complications, the implant is made of a biocompatible material (usually titanium). Once inserted in the jawbone, a crown can be fastened to the implant.

Why use dental implants?

  • Bone mass maintenance
  • Appearance resembling a natural tooth
  • Improved articulation and chewing
  • Simpler dental hygiene compared to a denture

If you are considering a dental implant, ask Dr. Tran for advice. She will confirm whether or not you are a good candidate for this type of treatment.
