The following steps are involved in designing and installing a dental crown
First appointment :
To make the crown easier to insert, the tooth is filed down. An impression is then taken to build the crown. A temporary crown is installed to protect your tooth until your final crown is ready.
Second appointment :
The temporary crown is removed and the final crown made from your impression is set in place. Before cementing it in position, we assess your bite and ensure that the size, shape and colour are right.
